All unused cable is saved for recycling. Reducing landfill and reducing the need for new copper mines. All installs are designed to be energy efficient, reducing emissions, lowering power bills and keeping you more comfortable.

We don’t aim to be the cheapest. We simply strive to be efficient in our work practices and offer suggestions that may save you money.
Our A Grade Electrician costs $66 Inc GST per hour, extra for apprentices and materials. Many other electrical contractors charge out their Electricians at much higher rates.

Morgan Kurrajong
Morgan is owner and operator of Universal Power & Light. An A Grade Electrician, he moved from Sydney to Castlemaine in 2001. Morgan now lives in happily in Castlemaine and is married with four children.
Morgan loves helping people, problem solving, and is passionate about environmental and community projects.
Alex Orr
Alex is a very hard worker and very knowledgeable. He has strong skills in fault finding, solar installation and maintenance, IT and data.
Alex grew up in the Shire of Mount Alexander. He enjoys IT and gaming.
Daniel Verselewis
Daniel has strong skills in switchboards, data and electrical installation. Daniels main passion is his volunteer work as a Youth leader for his church and the CFA.
